Job Summary
We’re hiring a Freelance Lead Producer to own pre-production and on-set execution for stills and short-form motion. You’ll lead client communications, manage crew and vendors, and keep timelines and budgets on track.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end production for advertising, editorial, and branded shoots
Build and manage schedules, call sheets, run of show; maintain project trackers
Coordinate crew & vendors (photographers, stylists, HMU, DT, PAs, studio, equipment)
Serve as primary client/agency contact; drive day-of decision-making on set
Manage budgets, POs, COIs/insurance, permits; reconcile and wrap
Oversee logistics: studio/location, transport, load-in/out, catering, compliance
Ensure delivery timelines for stills/motion are met
Qualifications
5+ years producing high-end photo/motion with proven on-set leadership
Excellent client communication; calm, solutions-first decision-maker
Strong budget management and vendor negotiation skills
Comfortable running overlapping workstreams (pre-pro ↔ set ↔ wrap)
Tools: Google Workspace, Asana/Airtable; QuickBooks Online; Salesforce familiarity a plus
NYC-based or able to be on-site as required
